3D Scene Understanding with TensorFlow 3D
In order to further improve 3D scene understanding and reduce barriers to entry for interested researchers, Google AI is releasing TensorFlow 3D (TF 3D), a highly modular and efficient library that is designed to bring 3D deep learning capabilities into TensorFlow. TF 3D provides a set of popular operations, loss functions, data processing tools, models and metrics that enables the broader research community to develop, train and deploy state-of-the-art 3D scene understanding models.

This Monday at 6pm CET, I will release a new podcast with a well known person from the OpenFOAM community, namely Tobias Holzmann. Tobias is a CFD engineer & OpenFOAM enthusiast. OpenFOAM is a C++ toolbox for the development of customized numerical solvers, and pre-/post-processing utilities for the solution of continuum mechanics problems, most prominently including computational fluid dynamics. Stay tuned!

Another exciting podcast will go live on Friday! Caglar Cakan is a physicist and computational neuroscientist working in the neural information processing group in the technical university of Berlin. We talked about his recent paper on deep sleep model for the human brain, how thermodynamics can help us to simulate the brain and a lot of other interesting topics!
